Real Madrid name their price to let Gareth Bale move to Man United: report

Real Madrid have named their price for superstar winger, Gareth Bale. It’s certainly not going to be cheap to acquire the Welshman this summer.
Spanish media outlet OK Diario, translated by the Manchester Evening News, says it’ll cost the buyer €150m (£131m); a staggering amount, even in the modern-day era where money is thrown around like it’s going out of fashion.
The report goes on to add that Jose Mourinho will try to sign the 28-year-old over the current transfer period, with the manager telling Bale that he’ll help him scoop the Ballon d’Or if he comes to the Red half of Manchester…
Who doesn’t love Bale? He’s an absolutely wonderful footballer to watch when in full-flight, and what he did in the Champions League final against Liverpool was just sensational.
He’d improve any club in world football, and it’d be superb if he were plying his trade at Old Trafford every other weekend.
I do have my doubts, though. I just don’t see United willing to spend such a vast amount of money on a player who’s rapidly approaching his peak. You also have to factor in his horrific injury record – which certainly isn’t going to get any better if he moves to the rigorous Premier League…
